About
Ms. Hassett was admitted to the California Bar in 1999. She is a results-oriented attorney who provides experience, knowledge and support to clients throughout San Diego and Orange County who are going through a divorce or have some other family law legal issue.
She counsels people whose marriages are coming to an end and who are having to deal with such divorce-related issues as the division of complex community assets and debts, child custody and visitation and spousal and child support. For those who are not married she can help establish paternity to obtain child custody and visitation orders.
She also has tremendous amount of experience in helping clients obtain or defend domestic violence restraining orders. These are for both civil restraining orders and, of course, domestic-family-law restraining orders.
Ms. Hassett is experienced in the preparation and review of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. She also advocates for people whose marriages have already been dissolved, helping them obtain post judgment modifications or the enforcement of existing support and parenting orders.
She is an experienced negotiator which allows her to help clients reach a settlement of the issues in the case. Ms. Hassett helps her clients make the best-informed decisions on the matters that affect their cases while she works hard to ensure they achieve the favorable outcomes they expect and deserve.
